Shane Devers Cricket Day

Shane Devers Cricket Day is named for our friend, teammate, coach, and committee member Shane 'Devo' Devers who passed away during the 2016 finals series, at the age of only twenty-nine.

Allthough many at the club now did not get to meet Devo, his name will be familiar to all with the Best First Year Player perpetual trophies, and our club bar, also named after Shane.

Shane was a great cricketer as well as great footy player, and a big supporter of our social cricket day. The Devers' family are regular attendees at cricket day, traveling far and wide to be in attendance on the day named for Shane.

Please scroll down for information on donations in memory of Shane.

In memory of Devo, the club has used this day to fundraise for The Epilepsy Foundation.
